From April 20-24, KCC celebrated diversity with a variety of cultural events. Diversity weekend kicked off Monday, April 20 and by Tuesday eyes were already being opened. Students gathered Tuesday morning to listen in on a panel of men and women who represented the gay, lesbian and transgender community to its fullest. Julie, Rick, Charlie, Jim and Danielle acted as the panel and took a discussion approach, making their audience an integral part of what seemed like a friendly chat.
The panel members were completely open and no question was taboo.
