Access-2-Success
The Access-2-Success program is committed to providing a cohort based learning experience in a safe and supportive environment. Students are prepared in the development of skills to become a self-sufficient and successful adult learner and/or wage earner.
The Learning Place
You can drop-in to The Learning Place to receive help in any subject matter or program area. Specialized help is available in English, Math, Reading, Science, and Learning Strategies. Located on the upper level of the Ohm Information Technology Center, our facility offers computer stations and software programs devoted to building academic skills.
Testing and Assessment Center
The Testing & Assessment Center provides students with a central location for testing. This office coordinates and administers the placement test (COMPASS), make-up, independent study examinations, online tests, and national credit-by-exam testing programs. Additionally, we are a regional testing site for the knowledge portion of the Michigan Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation Program.
Transition Studies
Students who need to develop their academic skills in order to be successful in college can enroll in Transitional Studies courses. These courses are designed to help bridge the gap between a student's current skill level and being college-ready.
