Broadcast and Cinematic Arts
Upon successful completion of the following courses, the Associate in Arts Degree will be awarded from Kellogg Community College.
Minimum
Required Credits

Group I. Communications
6
Take ENGL 151* and 152*.

Group II. Wellness
2
Take one of the following: PEC 121, 150 through 160.

Group III. Social Science
8
Take one of the following: POSC 200, 201, 202; SOCI 201; or HIST 104 (if not used in Group V).
Take a minimum of five credit hours from the following subject areas: ANTH 200; ECON 201, 202; HIST 100, 101, 102, 103, 104, 106, 201, 206, 210; PSYC 201; SOCI 201, 202, 203, 204, 250; SOSC 101, 102, or 203.

Group IV. Science and Mathematics

Take a minimum of eight credit hours from at least two of the following subject areas: (one must include a laboratory):
ASTR 104; BIOL 101, 110, 111, 112, 116, 200, 201, 202; CHEM 100 or above; GEOG 100; MATH 122 through 242; PHYS; SCIE 100, 102, or 103.
(NOTE: Associate in Arts Degree at KCC: Select at least one course from MATH 121-242; PHYS 111-202; or CHEM 100-111.)

Group V. Humanities

Take a minimum of eight credit hours from at least two of the following subject areas: ART 105, 211, 212, 213; FREN; GERM; HIST 100, 101, 102, 103, 104
(if not used in Group III), 106, 201, 202, 203; HUMA 150, 200, 205; JAPA; LITE 105, 205, 206, 211, 212, 216, 223, 230, 285; MUSI 211; PHIL 201, 202, 250; SPAN; THEA 121 or 122.
