Select from the following subject areas (at least one course must be a 200 level and no more than 5 hours of performing music or theatre courses): ART 105, 212, 213; Foreign Language; HIST 103, 104, 106, 151, 152, 201, 202, or 203; HUMA 150, 200, 205; MUSI 211; PHIL 201, 202, 250; THEA 121 or 122.

Requirements for Admission to the College of Pharmacy:
  1. Completion of all courses listed on this guide, taken at KCC and/or FSU, with a minimum GPA of 2.5 and no “D” grades in the courses of biology, chemistry, and mathematics.
  2. Application to the College of Pharmacy should be submitted prior to January 31 of the year the student wishes to enter the College to ensure consideration.
  3. Submission of an official Pharmacy College Admission Test (PCAT) transcript by the Psychological Corporation. It is recommended the PCAT be taken in October before the following January 31 application deadline selected by the student.

Application to take the PCAT must be made approximately one month in advance. General information and information concerning the dates, time and locations of the test can be obtained from the College of Pharmacy or by writing: Pharmacy College Admission Test, The Psychological Corporation, 555 Academic Court, San Antonio, TX 78204-2498; phone 800-622-3231; fax 210-921-8861.




(1) Completion of course requirements in Groups I, III, IV (8 hours), and V satisfies the MACRAO Agreement between KCC and Ferris State University.

Note: Students beginning classes for the first time at KCC in the Fall semester of 2004 will need to complete COMM 101 or 111 to satisfy KCC graduation requirements for all Associate degrees. Please consider this requirement when speaking to an Academic Advisor regarding your options for completing your transfer program.
