Minimum
Required Credits

Group I. Communications Group Requirement (1)

Take ENGL 151 and 152.

Group II. Wellness Group Requirement

Take one of the following: PEC 121, 150 through 160.

Group III. Social Science Group Requirement (1)

Take PSYC 201.
Take POSC 201.
Take HIST 104.


Group IV. Science and Mathematics Group Requirement (1)

Take one:  SCIE 103 or BIOL 101 or BIOL 110 or BIOL 202.
Take one:  ASTR 104 or CHEM 100 or CHEM 110. (2)


Group V. Humanities Group Requirement (1)

Take THEA 121 or 122.
Take HIST 201 or 202.
Take one course from Area I or Area II:

Area I, Fine Arts (3-4 hours minimum)
ART 211, 212, 213, HUMA 150, 150H, LITE 105, 216; MUSI 211; THEA 121, 122

Area II, Humanities (3-4 hours minimum)
HIST 151, 151H, 152, 152H; HUMA 205; LITE 205, 206, 211, 212, 213, 222, 223, 285; PHIL 201, 201H, 202, 250



Take all of the following:

(*)  Should be completed no later than the Fall semester of your second year.


(1) Completion of course requirements in Groups I, III, IV and V satisfies the MACRAO Agreement between KCC and Western Michigan University.

(2) If Elementary Integrated Science is selected as a minor, then take both ASTR 104 and CHEM 110.

 

NOTE:  Students beginning classes for the first time at KCC in the Fall semester of 2004 will need to complete COMM 101 to satisfy KCC graduation requirements for all Associate degrees.  Please consider this requirement when selecting your elective options for your transfer program.
