The clinical education component consists of a full-time experience in one of our affiliated clinical laboratories. The program currently has five clinical affiliates: Regional Medical Laboratories, located in Battle Creek, the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center, also located in Battle Creek, Bronson Methodist Hospital, located in Kalamazoo, Community Health Center of Branch County, located in Coldwater, and Pennock Hospital, located in Hastings. An attempt is made to place each student at the facility of his or her choice but the final decision for clinical placement resides with the Program Coordinator. Students are responsible for providing their own transportation to assigned clinical facilities. A car is essential for students enrolled in the second year of the program.
