Research Links for Allied Health Students (November, 2007)
This list is not meant to be an all-inclusive listing of sites at which you will find information for research or supplemental information for
your classes. The sites have not been researched for author credentials or truthfulness in publication. Being on this list does not assure that
information contained on a site is true!
Many of the sites relate to physical therapy because they are compiled by an instructor in that program. It is, however, obvious that this list will be very helpful to ANY Allied Health student!
Definitions for using the table below:
Database: The site holds information within the website itself. Links are not required in order to gather information.
Search Engine: The site holds information on LINKS to other sites for gathering information. In other words, the "linked sites" are searchable from this address.
Database/Search Engine: A combination of the two types listed above.
Organization: A site for an organization related to the topic (e.g. topic of Multiple Sclerosis which is found in a site for the MS Society)
