Additional Comments and Suggestions
* The elective in Spring, year one must come from a specific list of choices. This list can be found in the Academic Catalog in the Degree and Certificate Requirements and under the subheading “Creativity.” The Admissions Office, Academic Advising or the PTA Program Coordinator can be contacted for additional information on the choices available.

The Program will take two years (five semesters) to complete even if students have taken general education courses in advance of entering the Program--PTA courses are only offered in the sequence scheduled above.

Past students have found it beneficial to complete as many of the general education courses as possible prior to entering the PTA Program due to the demands of the Program coursework. This is not required, but strongly encouraged by the academic faculty and adds admission points when applying to the program.
