ARTICULATION PROCESS 2007/2008
  1. A high school student who successfully completes an approved high school course with a “B” or above and successful completion of competencies agreed upon by the Tech Prep Articulation Committee is eligible to receive credit for the equivalent Kellogg Community College course.

  2. To apply for articulated credit:
    1. The student must complete a Kellogg Community College application for admission and give to their high school instructor or counselor.
    2. The student must have their high school instructor or counselor enter the course information and a final grade on the "Request for an Articulated High School course" form.
    3. The student must have their high school send their application for admission, the articulation form and final high school transcript or Careers Center/Tech Center grade history to the Registrar’s office at Kellogg Community College.

  3. The Registrar’s office will notify the student after course information has been recorded.

  4. When a student successfully completes a semester at Kellogg Community College, equivalency credits for articulated programs will become part of the total Kellogg Community College transcript. If a student withdraws or receives an incomplete, they have not “successfully completed” a semester.

  5. No limit on the number of articulation credits will be set. A Kellogg Community College advisor can counsel students as to the number of credits earned for articulated courses toward meeting graduation requirements.

  6. Students must have articulation paperwork completed and enroll at Kellogg Community College within 26 months after high school graduation; otherwise the articulation agreement does not apply.

  7. Kellogg Community College tuition for articulated courses will be waived.

  8. Review of the articulation agreement will be completed yearly by the Kellogg Community College Occupational Dean and Program Director along with high school and technology center directors and instructors.
