. . .teaches research writing, technical writing, and film interpretation. She earned a Bachelor of English Education from MSU with a Film Studies Certification. She taught high school in the Upper Peninsula prior to attending Michigan Technological University to earn a Master of Rhetoric and Technical writing with a foreign language certification. She then spent seven years teaching at a community in rural Illinois before returning to Michigan. She started teaching at KCC in the fall of 1999. She is currently working on a Master of Communication at WMU. Lin and her husband Mark are foster parents, and they live in Kalamazoo with their son, Lukas, and any variety of foster children who are placed in their home.
