The music curriculum is designed to create a strong foundation for students planning on transferring to a four-year program or to improve as
a performer. Study of particular styles of music and over time offers students the opportunity to improve listening skills, appreciate
teamwork, and to impact emotional states. Study of music provides students with vocal and instrumental performance experience as well as
appreciation for social and historical musical experiences that connect generations and cultures.
