![]() . . .I was born in Ann Arbor, raised in Battle Creek, and currently live in Marshall. After receiving an M.A. in English from Western Michigan University, I taught at Jackson Community College and Florence Crane Women's Correctional Facility in Coldwater. At KCC I teach Freshman Composition (English 151 & English 152), Introduction to Fiction and Poetry (English 203/204), Introduction to Literature (Literature 105), and Shakespeare (Literature 223). In addition to these courses, I am one of the five instructors in the 2001-2002 New Century College. I'm married and have three young daughters: Madeline, Kate, and Eliza. My interests include reading, restoring antique woodwork, listening to music (anything from Beck to Billie Holiday), writing, running, cooking, and showing my kids the world.
