Interested in playing women’s soccer at KCC? Come to our soccer tryouts on June 8!

KCC’s women’s soccer tryouts will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 8, on the soccer field on campus at 450 North Ave. in Battle Creek.

To participate in tryouts:

  • Complete the registration form online at https://forms.gle/qzDQe7gyaLWFbYak9
  • Complete the physical form and bring a copy and a copy of your insurance information with you to tryouts (if you had a physical done for the 2019 high school soccer season, ask your high school for a copy)

Please note that participants must be high school graduates or graduating this year. Event instructions will be sent to registered participants one week before tryouts, and notification of results will happen before June 22.

Eierí Salivia will lead the KCC’s new women’s soccer team into its inaugural season in the Fall 2019 semester. A Puerto Rican native and a former pro soccer player for the Romanian club Astra Ploiești, Salivia is also the Physical Education Program Coordinator at KCC and teaches physical education classes at the College. Before his time at KCC, Salivia was executive director of the Kalamazoo Soccer Club and earned a master’s degree from the University of Minnesota.


Athletic scholarships are available under NJCAA rules, and we at KCC follow these regulations to the letter. For more information on availability of athletic scholarships, please contact the appropriate head coach or call the Athletic Department at 269-965-4151.


KCC is part of the Michigan Community College Athletic Association’s (MCCAA) Western Conference and is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association’s (NJCAA) Region 12.

Note: Playing women’s soccer at KCC is at the discretion of the head coach. All decisions as to who plays women’s soccer at KCC for the following academic year are made before Sept. 1.
