HOW TO START A CLUB:
  1. Mission statement: this is a brief statement that outlines the purpose of our organization. Why do you wish to exist as a club.
  2. Officers: This section outlines the officers that will be elected within your club. You do not include the names of the officers that you have elected. Next to the offices that you will have, describe what the key roles of the various officers will be. (Example President - to preside over all meetings.)
  3. Meetings: How frequently and when will you be holding your open meetings. (Example meeting will be held the first and third Wednesday of each month during September through May. All meetings will occur while classes are in session
  4. Elections: When will you elect officers and by what process? How will you accept nominations? Who is eligible to run?
  5. Membership: Who is eligible to join? Are there dues required?

African American Cultural Enhancement Association

This club is open to any student interested in promoting academic excellence and cultural diversity. The club participates in educational and social activities which promote unity among people of various cultures, ethnic groups, and/or social backgrounds. The primary focus of the club is on American ethnic minorities, specifically, African American and Latino.

The Anime Club

The purpose of The Anime Club is to help with cultural understandings through shared animation and comics from the Japanese culture. the club will be showing and discussing anything that has to do with anime.

 
Art League

This club is open to all students interested in expanding their knowledge of art. A variety of activities outside the classroom will be offered to encourage greater art appreciation by the members.

 
Bruin Christian Fellowship Club

This student-run club is non-denominational and open to all students. Bible studies, speakers, and other various activities are used to enhance the student's spiritual development.

 
Campus Republicans

The purpose of this organization is to bring together students interested in the political process and in the Republican Party, in particular. Students will develop a greater understanding and appreciation of our society and the political process through discussion, forums, and other activities and competitions.

Crude Arts Club

The Crude Arts Club is an informal group of KCC students who are devoted to writing. They are, in essence, a group of writers, thinkers, and talkers. The club meets once a week for an hour in the LRC (the day and time vary each semester) to share poems, stories, ideas, and opinions. In addition to providing support for young writers at KCC, the Crude Arts Club hosts campus poetry readings and organizes fundraising activities.

 
eClub @ KCC

Encore Theatre Club

This company is open to all students interested in further developing theatrical experiences on and off the campus. The goal is to entertain and educate audiences, explore theatre, and expose drama to all age groups. Students are encouraged to offer their support and talents to the community.

Film Club

International Student Organization (ISC)

This organization is an international honor society in which membership is by invitation only. Students in this organization must have completed 12 or more semester hours with a 3.5 or better grade point average. Tech Club (societus technica)

This is the oldest club on campus. It is open to any KCC student with an interest in the science and technology professions. The club also strives to increase student awareness by highlighting the need for the technician to stay abreast of advancements in technology.
