PTK Scholarships

With more than $36 million in transfer scholarships designated by 600 colleges and universities, you can see why being a member of Phi Theta Kappa has become a great resource in obtaining money to pay for your continued education.

Below are just a few scholarships available. For more information on all the scholarships available please visit- scholarships.ptk.org/.

Transfer Scholarships: For the most current listings and specific details on each four-year college and university’s scholarship, consult the online eScholarship Directory at www.ptk.org/schol/schol_dir.htm.

Coca-Cola Two-Year Colleges Scholarship: A merit-based $1,000 scholarship awarded each year to 350 eligible students. Nomination materials are sent to the Finacial Aid Office at all two-year, degree-granting institutions in the United States in February. Each college campus may nominate two students for this scholarship program. (Eligible students should contact the college’s financial adi office to declare their interest in being nominated by their college.) Nominees may be first and/or second year students planning to continue their education at a two-year institution. For more information, see

Phi Theta Kappa Online Scholarships of $500 each are awarded monthly. To be eligible, enroll at www.getconnected.ptk.org and keep your information current.

Leaders of Promise Scholarships of $1,000 each are awarded annually to 30 Phi Theta Kappa members. They assist members in completion of their associate degrees. Application are judged on the basis of leadership potential as demonstrated by participation in Phi Theta Kappa programs and academic achievement. Members may obtain eligibility information and download an application at www.ptk.org/schol/leadpromise.
