Come join the fun and learn about some of the exciting and creative career opportunities that young women don’t always consider. In this interactive event participants will see demonstrations and learn about careers in Robotics, Electricity and Electronics, Industrial Technology, Instrumentation, Machining, Renewable Energy, Tool and Die, Welding and more. They will also get to hear from local trail blazing women enjoying successful careers in fields that have traditionally been dominated by men… but that is changing fast! Interspersed throughout the day students will also get to try some hands on activities using specialized Lego robotics kits and even see a 3D printer in action! The future is coming fast, so start looking at the world of career opportunities that the women of tomorrow have open to them!
