Bruin Bots Activities

Girls Camp Sp 14 group photoStudent Technology & Trades Career Exploration

In May 2015 the Bruin Bots partnered with the Battle Creek Public Schools 21st Century Learning Program to host a girls career and robotics exploration event.

The middle school girls spent the afternoon at KCC’s Regional Manufacturing Technology Center learning about some of the exciting and creative career opportunities available in science, technology, engineering, math (STEM) and the Industrial Trades.

Schools, clubs and organizations can work with Bruin Bots to arrange tours and hands on robotics activities at KCC’s Regional Manufacturing Technology Center. Participants will see demonstrations and learn about careers in Robotics, Electricity and Electronics, Industrial Technology, Instrumentation, Machining, Renewable Energy, Tool and Die, Welding and more. Students can also engage in hands-on activities using specialized Lego robotics kits and even see a 3D printer in action!

The future is coming fast, so start looking at the world of career opportunities open to the leaders of tomorrow!
