Career Pathway – Business Management, Marketing, and Technology

This certificate program is a cooperative offering by the American Management Association Extension Institute and Kellogg Community College.

The American Management Association is a nationally-recognized group dedicated to the development and maintenance of management proficiency. This objective is fulfilled through the sponsoring of conferences, publishing books, and developing courses and instructional materials.

The American Management Association Extension Institute offers a variety of courses written by managers for managers. Every course concentrates on providing skills that can be used immediately to increase effectiveness. Each course consists of text, case studies, and examinations.

The Extension Institute has established a cooperative relationship with colleges and universities across the country. Kellogg Community College is pleased to associate in this unique approach to continuing education for business. The American Management Association Extension Institute provides the course materials; Kellogg Community College selects instructors; and the classroom environment permits interaction with fellow managers.

The Certificate in Management is a skills-oriented learning opportunity for women and men seeking career advancement and greater job satisfaction. To earn the Certificate in Management, each student is required to satisfactorily complete six of the courses offered. The student may take any six in any order. Courses will be repeated as required; new courses are added periodically.
