Direct Loan entrance counseling is required prior to loan disbursements for all first-time borrowers and provides information on the loan program and the student's rights and responsibilities as a borrower.

Online - Entrance counseling may be completed online at www.dl.ed.gov. Simply go to the website, click on "Entrance Interview" and select Kellogg Community College from the list of colleges.

Federal Direct Loan recipients are required to obtain a loan exit interview at the completion of their studies at Kellogg Community College. Students are mailed a packet of Exit Counseling information from the Financial Aid office. This interview covers the basic terms and conditions of the loan program and provides information on loan repayment.
