 The Kellogg Community College Foundation generates and encourages philanthropic giving and manages funds exclusively for KCC to enhance quality of education while building stronger communities.  Over the past nine years, the Kellogg Community College Foundation has begun several initiatives to provide financial assistance to the students and programs of Kellogg Community College. As you know, a scholarship can make all the difference to a student pursuing an advanced education. And, a grant to an academic department can enhance the educational value of a KCC program making it possible to provide the latest in technology and advanced learning. Working together with individuals, organizations and businesses in our community, we are able to help many students achieve their academic goals. Last year, the Foundation awarded over 150 scholarships totaling nearly $250,000 to individuals with unmet financial need and to students who demonstrated academic excellence and leadership qualities. The Starfish Award is available to graduating students only, who would like to recognize a KCC staff person who made a significant difference in their lives. Awards will be announced at the Graduation Breakfast. You will be notified in advance if your nominee is a winner and encouraged to attend the breakfast.
