The Kellogg Registration Information System (KRIS) provides a gateway to the resources you need anytime and anywhere from the web. This student information resource gives the ability and convenience to register for classes, verify financial aid awards, check account balance, view and print class schedules, add / drop dates and much more.

  1. Select the Term and click Submit.
  2. From the drop down menu (1) Final or Midterm / Intermediate Grading, choose “Final” and (2) select the appropriate course and (3) click submit.
  3. Type the letter grade in the correct column. When finished, click submit. Note: all “F” grades must have the last date of attendance.

*Denotes a required field.

*Type of Leave: Vacation, Sick, Funeral or Floating Holiday.

*Begin / End Date: Please enter using a six digit date (06/25/17).

Begin / End Time: Please enter time with “a.m.” or “p.m.” (8 a.m. or 8:00 a.m.).

*Total Hours Requested: Please enter the total amount of hours you will be gone.

Reason for Request: A brief description of why you are asking for time off.

If your time off is related to FMLA, please place a check in the box to alert Human Resources of this.

  • 1st Email – Confirmation: a confirmation email is sent to your KCC email stating that everything was filled out on the form.
  • 2nd Email – Supervisor Approval: an email is sent to your KCC email stating that your supervisor has approved the request.
  • 3rd Email – HR Approval: an email is sent to your KCC email stating that Human Resources has approved your request and has deducted your time from your leave bank.

Notes: Funeral leave is tracked in days. If you have any funeral leave on file, it will show a negative number of days that have been recorded. 

Leave Request – Supervisor Approval

  1. When you receive the email, click on the link within the email and login to the Bruin Portal.
  2. Once the ‘My To Do List’ is opened, it will show any / all pending Leave Requests. By clicking on the blue link, this will allow the supervisor to work the request.
  3. Working the request will allow you to see all the details of the request. This will allow you to approve or deny the request, along with adding some additional comments. When you approve the request, an email goes to Human Resources for the final approval. If you deny the request, Human Resources will not receive an email.

Note: After you click submit, the webpage will return you to the My To Do List. The list will show you still have something to do. Please refresh the screen, and it will be removed from your list of things to do.

**Online Learner Orientation cannot be overridden, as this is a requirement for all Online Courses.**

  1. Select a term. Enter the student’s k-ID and click submit.
  2. Select Course and Section of the student enrolled.
  3. Verify the Information – Student ID, Name, Semester, Term, Instructor, Class and Class Description (If you see “No Prerequisites Exists,” it means no one has overridden this course for this individual. Otherwise, it will show who and when the last person was to give the override). To give a Prerequisite Override, use the drop down menu to activate the override. To grant a Petition, use the drop down menu to activate the consent.
  4. Confirmation of Petition or Prerequisite Override.
