Create Gradebook Manually

  1. Set overall Calculation method. Decide to use straight assignment points, assignment weighting or category weighting.
  2. Define Grading Scale. Place the lowest possible percentage in the space next to the letter grade. Note: “F” must be at 0 (zero).
  3. Define Assignment Categories. This is where to name categories, such as assignments, quizzes, labs and exams.
    • Attendance is built in this category if you use it. Specify the amount of points each student will receive for being present, absent or late. You will also have to specify the total percentage that the final grade attendance will have.
