 Graphic Design is a diversified profession that provides creative solutions to visual communications. Graphic designers create visual form to translate an idea to express, inform, persuade, and inspire the audience.
KCC’s Graphic Design (GRDE) program helps you discover the world of visual communication by emphasizing computer graphics training, relevant field experience, and a strong, diversified portfolio. You will be encouraged to develop your conceptual and design ability while working in a modern graphic design environment that includes a fully equipped graphic design computer lab.

Our GRDE courses will help prepare you for entry-level positions in such places as:
- Advertising agencies
- Publishing corporations
- Print shops
- Design departments in business and industry
Our program offers an Associate in Applied Science Degree and two certificates—a Graphic Design Certificate and a Web Design Certificate. By enrolling in this exciting and creative program, you will:
- Learn about the printing process.
- Learn how to create digital images.
- Learn how to publish and design websites.
- Learn about such concepts as color analysis, typography, and ink performance.
- Receive instruction printing on paper, clothing, and other substrates.
- Explore advertising and marketing concepts/strategies.
