Emerging Technologies Grant Program
MISSION: The mission of the Emerging Technologies Program (ET) is to provide an avenue for exploring the use of "new to us" technologies. Through generous funding from the KCC Foundation, ET will prioritize financial support for requests to pilot technologies. Priority will be given to projects that are: new for KCC, can be applied broadly across disciplines and are sustainable in terms of cost and support.
WANT TECHNOLOGY? ...NEED MONEY?...
Funding from the Emerging Technologies Grant Program is intended to support Faculty and staff as they try new technologies in their work, whether working in offices or teaching, in an effort to increase effectiveness.
- Apply for funding by filling out an ET Grant Application form.
- Upon approval, receive funding and work with an Emerging Technologies mentor to learn and implement your new technology.
- Provide a hands-on "Tools you can use!" session on the benefits and drawbacks of the new technology.
