You can also search KRIS for the courses you want. A login ID and password are required only to actually sign up for the courses. You can search KRIS without a login ID and password. To perform a search for courses, go to the KRIS entry page, read any information that is applicable, then click on the KRIS button. Once in KRIS,

1. Click on "WebAdvisor for students"
2. Click on "Search for classes"
3. Select the appropriate "Term" (semester) from the drop-down box
4. Fill in any information in the remaining boxes that will narrow the search to fit your needs
5. Select "Web" from the "Location" box if you are interested only in online courses
6. Click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the screen
7. Repeat the process until you find the course or courses you want. Be sure to note the "registration key" for the courses for which you wish to sign up.

Are you considering taking a KCC online course but do not reside near one of the campuses?

Students residing closer to a Michigan community college other than Kellogg Community College should consider enrolling for online courses through the Michigan Community College Virtual Learning Collaborative (MCCVLC). This arrangement allows you to take KCC online courses but receive student services from a different Michigan community college.
