READI Assessment Info

Are you ready for Online Learning?

Find out by completing the The READI Assessment. It will take you about 30 minutes to complete but you may log out and complete it later if necessary. Your instructor can provide you login information. After you login, you will reciev an email from READI with a PIN number that will allow you to log back in later or view your results again.

Your READI score will not prevent you from registering for online classes. It is a tool that will help you assess your strengths and weaknesses related to online learning in five areas:

1. Individual Attributes - procrastination, time management, willingness to ask for help, academic attributes.

2. Learning Styles - what is your predominant learning style?

3. Technical Competency, Skills and Knowledge.

4. On-Screen Reading Speed and Comprehension.

5. Typing Speed and Accuracy.

After completing READI you will view a webpage which will show you your scores in easy to interpret graphs and text. It also provides some remedial tools to help you strengthen your weaknesses.
