Moodle is an example of course technology used to provide students with course information, assignments, activities and/or grade information. Students access Moodle through the web portal, and are able to access their course from anywhere using an Internet connection.

How to login to Moodle

All instructors should log into the web portal to access their Moodle courses.

New users: The Portal assigns a temporary password to new users. This temporary password MUST be reset to your confidential universal password when you are prompted by either a computer or a staff member (i.e. Help Desk, Customer Service Center).

Add an Activity

An activity is a general name for a group of features in a Moodle course. Usually an activity is something that a student will do that interacts with other students and or the teacher.



Forum Help

A forum is an activity where students and teachers can exchange ideas by posting comments. A forum can contribute significantly to successful communication and community building in an online environment.
