Thank you for joining us on August 30 in Ohm 107–109. Faculty and staff demonstrated ways they are using technology on campus to engage students, streamline workflow and stay current.
 KCC’s YouTube Channel – Check out
how faculty are using KCC’s YouTube channel to
engage students and enhance their classes

 Jing – Learn how to create your own short multimedia video
clips using free software. This is an excellent way to address
multiple learning styles, add interest to an online component
and provide a resource that can be repeatedly accessed. |

 Crocodoc – This free online annotation tool is a great
way to walk participants through a document, website, design or
other electronic document in the classroom. Find out ways to use
this tool in your online classroom to increase student
engagement. |

 Smartboard – Did you know KCC has a Smartboard on
campus? Stop by and find out more about using the Smartboard and
even how to record video clips. |

 Smartpen – Wouldn't it be great to record and play back
everything from a meeting or class? You can with Livescribe’s Smartpen. Visit faculty and staff who are using the pen and
learn about ways this can also benefit your students. |

 Moodle – Have you Moodled yet? Check out the pilot program
and hear reactions
from faculty. Take a look at the various ways faculty are utilizing this online
learning management system. |

 Posterous – Interested in setting up a blog? Know how
to use email? Then you can create your own customized site using
Posterous. What does it look like? Check out

 Library Resources – Want to check out
an iPad? Need LibGuides? How about using Link Resolver?
