Components of a Blackboard Course
Three important areas
A typical Blackboard course page is shown below. Labels show you the three important areas in a Blackboard page.
- The Course Menu Links - these buttons are the links to the content and tools of Blackboard. Click here for more Click here for more Course Menu Link information
- The Content Frame - is where the content will be displayed. The picture below is displaying the Home Page (Dashboard) with 7 different modules; My Announcements, My Calendar, My Tasks, To Do, What's New, Alerts and Needs Attention.
- The Navigation Path - is a tool to help you return to parts of the Blackboard course you have previously seen.
