How can I create a Discussion Board Thread?
Step 1 - From your Blackboard course, under the course menu, click the 'Discussions' button.
Step 2 - This Discussion Board content shows 2 forums. In this example we will respond to the Chapter 1 forum. Click the 'Chapter 1' link to respond to this forum.
Step 3 - To create a new thread click the 'Create Thread' button.
Step 4 - In the 'Subject' area type something related to the message. In this example we are responding to a question in chapter 1. The asterisk indicates its a required field. In the 'Message' area type your response to the question. Then click one of the 2 'Submit' buttons located in the content window.
This will complete your task in creating a thread using the Discussion Board.
