Discussion Board Thread
~ Adding Attachment ~
Step 1 - From your Blackboard course, under the course menu, click the 'Discussions' button.
Step 2 - This Discussion Board content shows 2 forums. In this example we will respond to the Group Projects forum. Click the 'Group Projects' link to respond to this forum.
Step 3 - To create a new thread click the 'Create Thread' button.
Step 4 - In the 'Subject' area type something related to the message. In this example we are responding to the group project question. The asterisk indicates its a required field. In the 'Message' area type your response to the question. Then click 'Attach a file'.
Step 5 - Click 'Browse' to located the file.
Step 6 - In this example we are uploading a file you have saved to the desktop. Either double-click the 'CyberSecurity.pptx' file or single-click the file and click 'Open'.
Step 7 - Notice the file has been uploaded to the 'Attach Local File' box. Click one of the 2 'Submit' buttons located in the content window.
This will complete your task in attaching a file using the Discussion Board.
