Blocking or Junking E-mail

There are two common methods used in blocking or junking Internet e-mail. In GroupWise we need to set up the preferences which can only be done through GroupWise client. This cannot be done through the Web Access.

Open GroupWise client from the icon placed on the desktop.

Junk Mail Handling Settings and List Maintenance

Set up the preferences once the Junk Mail Handling dialog box is open.

Junk Mail Handling Preferences

Now that the preferences are set up, you can junk or block e-mails from your GroupWise account.

Junk Mail Sender

After clicking either Junk sender or Block sender another screen (Junk or Block sender dialog box) will pop up. Here you will determine whether or not you want to junk or block the senders e-mail address or the domain name. Important Note: An Internet domain is part of the e-mail address that comes after the @ symbol. For example, in the address Henry@yahoo.com, the Internet domain is yahoo.com. If you Blocked or Junked an entire domain, ALL messages from ANYONE at Yahoo would be affected.
