Logging into the Student Gradebook
Step 1 - Open your internet browser, go to the KCC home page and click on the KCC Web Portal link located at the bottom left of the page.
Step 2 - After clicking on the web portal icon, this portal login screen pops up. From here you will log in using your student or college identification number.
Step 3 - Once you log in you will see the welcome screen at the top. The welcome screen gives you access to the KCC Web Site, KRIS, Blackboard, Universal Password Management, and Logout links. To log into the KRIS system, click the 'KRIS' link located at the top of the welcome screen.
Step 4 - Once you log into KRIS, click the 'KRIS for Students' link.
Step 5 - After clicking the 'KRIS for Students' link, you will have access to the 'KRIS for Students' menu. Under Academic Profile click the 'Student Gradebook' link.
Step 6 - From the 'Student Gradebook' click the course hyperlink for a detailed report.
Step 7 - This screen shot displays an example of the 'Student Gradebook Report'. After viewing the Gradebook Report, click 'OK' to return to the Student Gradebook. Note: The instructor sets up the Gradebook on what they want the student to see. Please contact your instructor if you have any questions. [Click on image below for larger image]
Step 8 - It is important that you log out of both your KRIS session and the Web Portal to ensure that your information is not viewed or compromised by others. In KRIS the 'Log Out' link located at the top of the Students Menu screen. On the Web Portal screen, the logout button is located in the upper right hand section of the screen.
