How do I log into the Web Portal?
Open your internet browser, go to the KCC home page and click on the KCC Web Portal link located at the bottom left of the page.

After clicking on the web portal icon, this portal login screen pops up. From here you will log in using your employee or college identification number.

If you're unable to login, you will need to get your password reset. You can do this by stopping at the Help Desk located in the library, Customer Service Center, Regional Center offices, or many Student Services departments. You will need some type of picture identification.
If you are logging into the Web Portal for the first time, you will be taken to this screen to reset your password.

After you have clicked "Change Password" you should get this screen letting you know that your password is in the process of updating.

After your password has been updated, you should see the next screen letting you know that your password has been successfully changed.

Here you can log back in using your k ID number and the new password you just created.
Sometime during the process of changing your password, you might be asked to create a hint or challenge questions. You will answer 4 questions. Two will already have questions and you need to provide the answers. The other two, you will need to provide both the questions and answers. In the event that you have forgotten your password, you can recover your password by answering these questions known only to you.
If you're not asked to create a hint or challenge questions during your password change, it is a good idea to go in and set up your hint or challenge questions. To do this log into the Web Portal as described eariler. Once logged in you will see the Welcome Screen.

After clicking on the "Setup Hints" link you will be taken to a Password Management screen to setup your hints. Remember you will answer 4 questions.

Here you can continue working with Password Management Fuctions or one of the KCC links to continue with your work.
