Vista on Campus
~ Login & New Start Menu ~
This is the new Novell login for Vista. The I-cursor is already blinking in the Username box. Type in your k-ID (college ID) number. You can tab down or click into the Novell password box. Type in your universal password. This will log you into the computer.
Red Arrow: The red arrow indicates where to start. By clicking on the Microsoft logo, this new menu opens. If you hover over All Programs, a list of programs will open in the white area, just above All Programs.
Blue Arrow: The blue arrow indicates the quick way to shut off your computer. If you hover your mouse over this button, a menu pops up and displays; closes all open programs, shuts down windows, and then turns off your computer.
Green Arrow: The green arrow indicates another set of options. If you click on this button, a pop-up menu displays several more options; log off, lock, restart, sleep, and shut down.
