Vista Pre-Setup Checklist - Wireless
Read the following and perform any actions required to bring your laptop into compliance. Check the box next to each item as you complete them.
(Start > right click Computer > click Properties > Under “Windows edition” will give you the version of Vista running on your computer)
(If not sure, check your wireless network adapter – see next step)
Wireless adapter information (Start > right click Computer > click Properties > Under Tasks click Device Manager > click the + sign in front of Network Adapters) What Network Adapter do you have?
User Account information (Start > click Control Panel > double click User Accounts) Is your name listed as Administrator?
