How to Reply to a Forum Post
Click on the forum that needs to have a reply posting.
After reading the instructions, click on the "Discussion" that you wish to read/reply.
Opt to go back to read other postings by clicking on the forum name at the top of the screen. When a reply is needed to the discussion, click on the "Reply" link at the bottom right of the posting.
The "Subject" is required; the "Message" is where the posting is written.
Choose how to subscribe to the forum.
I don't want email copies of posts to this forum - will not email you every posting or reply. To view them, click back on the forum from the course main page. This is the Default setting.
Send me email copies of posts to this forum - an email from all postings and replys. (There can be a lot of emails choosing this setting.)
INSTRUCTORS have the ability to force your subscription to forums. Most of the time they will give the student the option.
Option to "Add..." attachment. More info: Click here
Finally, "Post to forum". This will submit the posting.
NOTE: There is a 30 minute timer for the student to edit their posting.
