Off the Hook: Beginning Crochet CRFT C10Y-01
Don't know how to hold a crochet hook? Don't worry; this class is the perfect place to get started. You will learn the basics of chain stitch, single, and double crochet techniques. You will complete two small projects as you learn how to start the chain, fasten off, turn chains, and work in both rows and rounds. Please bring a size H crochet hook and a skein of good quality worsted weight cotton yarn in a light color.

Knitting for Beginners CRFT C10Y-02
Get your knit together! It's not just for grannies anymore! Let Kassie Dunham, a seasoned "knitologist", show you the basics of the fine art of knitting. In this introductory class you will learn how to choose needles and yarn; two methods of casting on stitches; the knit, purl, garter, ribbing, stockinet and reverse stockinet stitches; plus how to read patterns. Each week you'll complete a small project as you learn and apply these techniques. Whether it's been years since you wielded a needle or if you've never knitted a stitch, you'll want to start right now in this fun and engaging class. Please bring a pair of size 8 straight knitting needles and a light-colored skein of quality worsted weight yarn to class.

Design a Wire Wrap Ring CRFT C10J-01
Leave this workshop with a stylish, originally designed and handcrafted ring that might make you consider getting more involved in jewelry design. You'll learn about a variety of semi-precious gems and stones and the energy they carry. You'll be able to select the stone you prefer from our wide collection and then learn to use a wire wrap technique to create your very own and uniquely "you" ring. We'll share our tools and wire for this design, and you'll discover everything you need to know to make your own jewelry in the future including the three most important tools needed, types of wire, and styles of wrapping. Your class fee includes materials for one ring.

Crochet an Adorable Baby Hat — NEW CRFT C10Y-03
It's the latest rage in baby hats...imagine your little one with a cute lamb, bunny, or ducky crochet hat for Easter! We'll also have a totally cute headband pattern with a bouncy little flower on the side. Crochet baby hats are a perfect gift that you can make on your own and in this workshop you'll create one adorable little hat to share with that special little one in your life. You must have a basic understanding of crochet stitches: may we recommend our Beginning Crochet class to get you started? Bring your mom, grandmother and best friend and you can leave with all four designs! NOTE: A materials list will be mailed upon registration; each design requires different materials so you will choose your design and purchase the appropriate materials before coming to class.

The Wonder of Watercolors — NEW CRFT C10P-01
This class will explore a variety of watercolor techniques. You'll have an opportunity to paint a landscape, seascape, still life or flowers— your choice. You will create a work of art and begin to identify and develop your own style. Plus, you'll receive an informational folder that will describe paper, paint and brushes, etc. that can be used for watercolor painting. Your instructor has over 20 years of experience with watercolor painting and is a member of the Watercolor Society of Artists. No experience is necessary. NOTE: A materials list of items to bring to the first class will be provided prior to class. Please bring photos or pictures to use for inspiration.

Make-It-And-Take It: Create a Floral Spring Wreath — NEW CRFT C10F-01
This fun step-by-step class will add a breath of fresh air to your home this spring! You can hang it on your front door, over your fireplace or use it as a centerpiece in your dining room. We'll celebrate the coming season with a wreath of your favorite spring flowers. However you choose to display your wreath, when your family and friends walk through your door, they'll know spring has arrived! No previous experience is necessary; and your fee includes all materials and fresh flowers. Please register no later than April 27th so we can order adequate supplies. NOTE: Because flowers are ordered ahead of the class date, a supplies fee of $35 is not refundable for any registrations dropped after Monday, April 30th.

Photographing People ONLINE
Photographing people can be fun, exciting and complicated! This course will make taking beautiful pictures of adults, children and babies simple. After a review of the basics, you'll discover the best way to shoot faces, repair common problems, and take professional portrait and formal group shots. You'll become proficient in action photography, and you'll also learn several fun and creative ways to photograph children and babies. You'll even gain expertise in filling your photographs with imagery, setting moods and creating themes. This course will have you well on your way to becoming a skilled people photographer.
