Kellogg Community College’s Professional Development Institute, in partnership with Humanergy, Inc., has designed a program to create organizational success through the power of your people. By developing your leaders you increase the performance of both your employees and your company.

For the EMPLOYER: Leaders today face work that is more complex with greater customer expectations and higher levels of productivity. Employee commitment is an integral component of organizational excellence. This program will give your employees the skills they need to fulfill their important roles.

For the EMPLOYEE: Employees today need greater skills, understanding and confidence to meet the growing challenges in the workplace. Developed by Humanergy, Inc., this program will help you build skills in the basic competencies that today's leaders need most. You will learn to motivate and guide others for greater individual, team and organizational performance.


This interactive, experiential program uses 2- and 4-hour workshop sessions that feature self-assessment, case studies, planning exercises, and role playing to give you opportunities to gain insight and develop strategies for improving leadership and supervisory skills. We'll meet approximately once each month for class sessions. The sessions are offered three times in one day to accommodate leaders who work different shifts at their companies, and to offer scheduling flexibility for employers. Employees can "step into" the program at any point and upon completion of all six sessions they will be qualified for the Certificate in Supervisory Leadership designation.

You will develop practical skills in the core competencies that will make a difference in your organization and in your leadership abilities. In each of the six sessions you will learn tools that you can take right back to work and use the very next day. Handy to use job aids will be provided to ensure that what is learned can be easily applied on the job.

Participants who complete all six sessions will be awarded a Certificate in Supervisory Leadership from Kellogg Community College.
