The Chemistry curricula offer a wide variety of courses that transfer to 4 year colleges and universities. Students can select from courses
such as General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry and study concepts from general chemical concepts and principles, organic and
inorganic chemistry to atomic structure, reactions, and biochemical compounds.
Students interested in health care benefit from understanding the basic chemical structures and principles that support healthy individuals and directly apply those to health careers.
"I am glad that I took Organic Chemistry at KCC instead of a lecture hall with 300 other students."
- A KCC student after transferring to a major state university
" My career as a registered pharmacist started with a chemistry course at KCC and took me to the University of Michigan where I earned my degree in pharmacy".
