Betty Picard, coloratura soprano and instructor of applied voice, earned a B.A. in education at Hope College, and later a degree in Vocal Performance at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. She completed a Master's degree in vocal performance at Michigan State University in Lansing.
Ms. Picard currently teaches music for Harper Creek Community Schools and is an adjunct professor of voice at Kellogg Community College in Battle Creek. Ms. Picard has performed throughout the United States. Most recently, she performed an anthology of works by Andrew Lloyd Webber with Broadway pianist David Geist in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
