This intensive program prepares students for entering the diverse fields of photography and multimedia. Working professionals and employers designed the curriculum to develop individuals who thrive in fast-paced work environments and prepare students to use state-of-the-art technology
with artistic expression. Graduates of this program are well-rounded individuals, with a background adaptable to a variety of media related fields.

The program includes four main areas of emphasis: Photography, Multimedia, Film Animation, and Visual Art. The curriculum blends traditional and digital media technologies while encouraging technical proficiency and aesthetic awareness of photography, multimedia, film animation, visual art, video capture and editing, sound capture and editing, web design, and graphic design as both an art form and a professional medium of communication.

Student Outcomes The graduating student will:
1. be prepared for professional careers in photography and multimedia or entry into baccalaureate degree programs in visual art.
2. interpret, analyze, verbalize, and write about print and multimedia arts using appropriate visual arts terminology.
3. demonstrate technical proficiency with and the application of analog and digital photographic and multimedia imaging hardware and software.
4. analyze photography and multimedia business and production work flows for the creation of a career self-promotion/self-marketing plan.
5. model professional, ethical behavior and communicate effectively, respectful of individual differences, with colleagues, clients, vendors, management, team members, and professional associates.
