POLITICAL SCIENCE

Political science is the study of how governments work and interrelate in society. Political systems effect our daily lives. In today’s world it would be challenging to find a career that would not benefit from a strong foundation in political science. Political systems support how communities make decisions, how much we pay in taxes and whether or not countries enter wars.

Political science is a great fit for students who enjoy problem-solving, are interested in current events or are interested in pursuing a career in areas as varied as business, education, finance, health, journalism, politics or the practice of law.

A country’s system of government and the level of freedom its citizens enjoy depend upon the active participation of those citizens. In today’s world, political systems interrelate on global bases as businesses, economies and people strive for career and personal success.
