MY BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

OBJECTIVE:   To obtain a career as a Professor of Political Science, and utilize my past experience,
                        in both teaching and state government, to educate our aspiring student body.

EXPERIENCE:

June 1995 -         Instructor of Political Science, Jackson Community College.
    Present           Responsible for providing in-depth knowledge of State, Local, and U.S.,
                           political structures, as well as the procedures and theories of political science.

Jan. 1997-     Instructor of Social Issues, Jackson Community College.
   Present        In addition to instructing political science, responsible for facilitating a course in the study of the
                     many social issues that society currently faces, and through open discussion, addressing the various
                     problems communities encounter.

June 1994-95     Constituent Relations Specialist for Senator Philip E. Hoffman.
July 1997-         Duties include assisting the constituents of the 19th district with various state                     Present             difficulties, as well as the explanation of the Senatorís policy initiatives to the citizen, lobbyist, or
                       relative government entity.

ADDITIONAL COURSES TAUGHT:

August 1995-     Instructor of Minority Relations, Jackson Community College.
   Dec. 1995    In addition to instructing political science, responsible for providing a thorough
                     background into the various ethnic populations, the culture, as well as past and present problems
                    faced within the United States.

August 1995-     Instructor of History, Jackson Community College.
   Dec. 1995    In addition to instructing political science, responsible for providing in-depth knowledge of early
                     American history, including the political and cultural transformations, through to the Civil War.

Feb. 1997-     Instructor of Social Science, Montcalm Community College, Cope Program.
   Present      Coupled with instructing at Jackson Community College, responsible for providing an introduction
                    into the realm of the social sciences to a diverse population of students.

Oct. 1995-     Instructor of Political Economics, Montcalm Comm. College, Cope Program.
Dec. 1995    Responsible for providing in-depth knowledge, and ëreal worldí applications, of both Macro and
                  Micro Economics to a diverse population of students.
