I am in High School — How should I prepare?
Recommended high school courses for the Physical Therapist Assistant Program include:

3 years of English 
Basic sciences including 
Biology, 
Chemistry, 
Physics  
Basic math (preferably algebra). 

Chemistry, biology, physics and algebra which are completed in high school with good grades will make an applicant who is in the senior year of high school more competitive for admission. 

Note: Applicants who have already completed high school do not need to take college level coursework in chemistry, physics and algebra before applying to the program.
