*A local program is available which provides the required completed annual physical and all tests/immunizations for approximately $250.00. In the 2nd year an
updated physical with urinalysis,
complete blood count (CBC) and TB update is required. CPR must be current throughout
all clinical rotations.
**A lab coat may be required for a limited number of the clinical affiliations. Nice looking slacks, shirts and shoes are required for ALL clinical rotations.
No skin should show in the midriff area.
Professional liability insurance for
each semester is paid within the fees
for each PTA course.
We try to place students according to a requested general vicinity whenever possible, but students may be required to drive as far as 60-70 miles
to clinical affiliations. Average mileage to clinical site is within
15-30 miles. Some students choose to relocate. In that instance, the cost of housing should be considered.
