The Customized Training Department was created in 1985 to meet the needs of the employers in Barry, Branch and Calhoun Counties. The Regional Manufacturing Technology Center opened in 1990 and provided an innovative collaboration between Customized Training and Industrial Trades. With the aid of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation as well as Michigan Works! Customized Training has administered millions of grant training dollars to educate our local workforce.
