Students enrolled in the Millwright program at the RMTC will learn plant safety, basic shop math, measurement tools and techniques, basic blueprint reading, schematics and symbols, use of hand tools and power tools, the elements of mechanics, drive components, lubrication principles, bearings, rigging, equipment installation, metallurgy, troubleshooting, industrial hydraulics and pneumatics, strengths of materials, pumps, carpentry, and concrete construction.
