INDUSTRIAL ROBOTICS PROGRAM

The Robotics program is an excellent career choice for people who enjoy working with cutting edge technology, are innovative and can adapt to change quickly and efficiently.

Students enrolled in the Robotics program at the RMTC will learn about computer integrated manufacturing, the fundamentals of robotics, power and drive systems, controls and sensors, programming robots, robotic interfacing and work cell management, and about maintenance, repair and troubleshooting robotics.

Robotic Technician
Electro-Mechanical Technician

The uses of robots and robotic systems in manufacturing are growing at a phenomenal pace. Since robots are primarily used to achieve higher levels of productivity and more competitive product costs, those skilled trades people who know how to design, set up, operate, or maintain this type of equipment are highly valued by their employers.

Program graduates can expect incomes generally ranging from $20,000 to $50,000 per year.
