Mastering Time Management - NEW
(BUCO 85Q-37)
We are overwhelmed. Overwhelmed with information, projects, and responsibilities. Life continues to get faster and more complicated, and our time and the deadlines we face are shorter. This one-day workshop will help you find some solutions and sanity in today’s hurried-up world. We’ll take a look at time wasters and how we can better use our time to get more happiness and fulfillment in our lives. We’ll explore some of the more popular time management tools (calendars, planners, PDAs, etc.) and then we’ll go through a detailed process to set your choice of tool up for maximum productivity. One big challenge is information overload (too many emails, too many voice mails, too many trade magazines to read, etc.) and we’ll look at ways to bring the overload back to sanity. We’ll end our day by discussing how to save time in meetings (and who hasn’t felt overwhelmed by seemingly endless meetings?), how to manage team assignments for higher productivity and how to share good time management habits with others. This workshop is great for overworked professionals or anyone looking to better use and enjoy their time and their life! Your presenter is Randy Dean (see bio in previous course description). Note: Please bring your current time management tool to class.

(BUCO 85Q-42) |

The way we choose to spend our time and money is the measure of our ability to translate what matters most to us into our daily lives. Today, for many, that means a greater focus on devoting more of ourselves to family and loved ones. Yet, the burning question remains: How? As home life and work life become increasingly integrated in contemporary life, successor failurein either has an undeniable effect on the other. And while the profound events that began the 21st century have intensified the desire to focus on what matters most to us, there is still often a substantial gap between what we say matters most, and the way we actually spend our time and money. But it is possible to keep both areas moving forward in positive ways. Join Terri Vought, life coach, to explore how you can create a balance between home, work and life, and gain tips and techniques to make it happen!
