The Adult Education Enhancement Initiative (AEEI) program is committed to providing educational opportunities in a safe, supportive environment and to encouraging the student in the development of skills to become a self-sufficient and successful adult who is a responsible contributor to the global community. The purpose of the program is to develop partnerships with employers, educators, and others to assist the citizens of the Battle Creek area community in achieving vocational, career, or academic goals.

The Adult Education Enhancement Initiative (AEEI) Program at Kellogg Community College provides support to adult learners who are unemployed or under-employed as they increase their skill level in reading, writing, study skills, and math to college level, so that they may become self-sufficient and successful. Students are assessed using Strength Finder 2.0, IDEA, and Jung’s Typology tools to aid in their career decision making and training.
