Frequently Asked Questions


Why is a photo ID required for testing?

  • Since most students are not known personally to our staff members, we need to verify your identity.
  • We want to ensure the instructors that the proper student took the test.
  • All national testing programs require photo identification.

How late can I come to take a test?
  • Allow at least one hour before our closing time.
  • If the test is untimed, you are responsible for allowing yourself proper time to complete the test.

I missed a test in class. How will I know if my test is there?
  • If your instructor told you that you could make up a test at the Testing Center, you may want to check with us by telephone to verify that the test is here.
  • If the test is not brought here personally by your instructor, it may be delayed in the mail.

How will I know the results of my test?
  • Placement test results are received after each testing session.
  • Telecourse and make-up tests are mailed to or picked up by your instructor.
  • Telecourse results will be received in the mail.
  • Make-up test results are usually given back to you in class.
  • Most national test programs mail your results.
